Role Summary

With a strong focus on both staff and guest obsession
, the Water Park Team Leader plays a key role in creating an exceptional guest experience and making this one of the best places to work. This is a guest-facing, frontline leadership role supporting daily operations within an assigned zone of the Water Park.

As a Water Park Team Leader, you will act as a fully trained and certified subject-matter expert on water attractions, serving as a role model for safety, service, and professionalism while supporting your team and ensuring smooth, efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities Role Modeling & Team Leadership
  • Lead by example by ensuring all team members follow water park safety competencies and proper aquatic safety practices.
  • Support efficient daily operations while consistently delivering excellent guest service.
  • Act as a trusted frontline leader, communicating effectively with zonal and management leadership.
  • Notate and report daily operational occurrences and assist leadership with issue resolution.
  • Participate in shift briefings to review daily priorities and assignments.
  • Monitor staff breaks to ensure proper coverage and smooth rotations.
  • Complete presentation and safety checklists to ensure cleanliness and operational standards are met.
  • Support opening and closing procedures in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for guest inquiries, resolving concerns professionally and positively.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Previous experience in a guest-facing role (theme park, resort, or similar environment preferred).
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
  • Basic math and computer skills preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules
    , including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must obtain and maintain Star Guard ELITE Lifeguard Certification
    .
