Client Relationship Manager, Customer Service Rep
Universal Banker – 20hr – Auburndale (Truist)
We are seeking a Universal Banker to provide timely and efficient client transactions while maintaining accurate records and thorough handling of all monies assigned. The role delivers superior quality service, identifying and understanding client financial needs and supports sales and service activities with a focus on outbound calling and Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Provide a distinctive client experience, engaging clients with a smile and conducting both complex and standardized transactions while uncovering needs.
- Educate clients on digital, self‑service solutions including ATMs, online and mobile banking to enhance their service experience.
- Support the team sales process through client outreach via outbound calls, checking for client offers, and identifying client needs or opportunities to refer the client to the appropriate branch team members or specialists.
- Understand the importance of Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to seamlessly deliver Truist expertise and solutions for clients’ unique needs.
- Participate fully in all components of the established Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines.
- Commit to advancing individual and product knowledge through sales, service, and product knowledge meetings and all applicable training classes and web‑based learning.
- Adhere to internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies; stay informed of all changes in policies and procedures to ensure compliance with current guidelines.
- Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution, offering applicable products and services to clients and prospects. Handle a proportionate volume of work based on branch demands.
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Two years of teller or cash‑handling or client service experience.
- At least six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
- Ability to master personal computer (PC) keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation.
- Ability to multitask under time constraints.
- Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office software products.
- Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required, including temporary assignment or locale changes.
- Availability to work weekends and/or extended hours; occasional travel and overnights may be included.
- One year of client relationship building or sales experience.
- Knowledge of advanced or complex branch transactions, risk management, and loss prevention.
- Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building.
- General understanding of bank operations, policies, and procedures.
