We are a firm that has been providing quality accounting, tax, and financial services to our clients for decades. We are seeking a professional to fill the role of Certified Public Accountant / Tax Preparer to develop strong, lasting relationships with our clients. The ideal candidate will be experienced with tax planning for individual, corporate and partnership tax returns. If you have prior experience in these areas, we would love the opportunity to speak with you regarding this opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with staff on income tax preparation and planning
- Represent clients with IRS, State or other audits
- Review completed tax forms and provide recommendations to other members of our team when needed
- Research and resolve tax and accounting issues affecting our clients
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through ongoing communication and exceptional service
Qualifications:
- CPA certification required for the CPA position
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required for the CPA position
- Strong knowledge of Quick Books and Thomson Reuters software (preferred)
- English as primary language
- In‑depth tax knowledge at the local, state and federal levels
- Dedicated to providing exceptional customer service to clients
- Able to work in a fast‑paced environment
