Sweetie Boy Transportation, established in 2010, is a full-service Automobile Transportation and Logistics company. We have an immediate opening for a full-time Lot Porter to support daily lot operations in Winston-Salem, NC. This role is hands-on and active—lots of walking, scanning inventory, staging vehicles for drivers and car haulers, and protecting keys/vehicles with a safety-first mindset.

We are hiring for THREE full-time openings under this one posting:

• Rotating weekend schedule — Evening Shift (1:00 PM–9:00 PM) - 1 position available
• Rotating weekend schedule — Morning Shift (Flex). Typical shifts: 6:00 AM–2:00 PM, 7:00 AM–2:00 PM, 7:30 AM–3:30 PM, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM - 2 positions available

• Inventory Control
  • Conduct daily lot scans by walking the lot and scanning vehicles to ensure accurate inventory tracking (including dwell/time-on-lot)
  • Check in vehicles delivered by Auto Pilots, car haulers, and partner carriers
  • Track, issue, and return plates, safety vests, and other required equipment
  • Staging Cars for Drivers & Haulers
  • Stage and line up vehicles for Auto Pilots and car haulers based on the hub schedule
  • Distribute/collect keys and paperwork for driver pickups/drop-offs
  • Assist/direct car haulers during loading and unloading (per schedule)
  • Update and maintain car hauler appointments using the hub spreadsheet
  • Protecting Assets & Vehicle Condition
  • Maintain an organized key and documentation system
  • Inspect vehicles for damage and verify VINs during check-in/check-out
• Lot & Office Organization
  • Inspect the lot daily for debris, hazards, and safety concerns
  • Keep the lot organized for efficient space usage and flow
  • Maintain clean office space; organize supplies and equipment storage

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (MVR will be checked) and maintained driving history for the past 5 years
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and walk large lots for extended periods
• Able to stand/walk up to 4 hours at a time; able to bend/kneel/stoop to inspect vehicles/VINs as needed
• Must wear a safety vest at all times on company and customer property
• Strong attention to detail and organization (inventory accuracy matters)
• Self-motivated, dependable, and safety-first with strong communication skills
• Comfortable using office tools and basic computer systems/spreadsheets

• $17.50/hour
• Weekly pay via direct deposit

• Full-time (40 hours/week), rotating weekends required
