Overview

NCR Voyix is looking for Field Service Technicians to join our team. You will provide first line response to customer issues, organize and triage concerns, and apply formal training to deliver solutions that meet customer needs in a timely manner. Training is provided through NCR Voyix with virtual and hands-on classroom components to enable fast learning and growth. Position Summary

Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility

Are you a Field Technician? Field Engineer? Service Technician? Are you looking to start a career in this field? Pay and benefits include:

• Hourly Pay Range: $18.00 to $20.00 depending on location and experience
• Overtime available at time and a half
• 7 paid holidays and 6 paid floating holidays

NCR Voyix’s Field Services Team creates value by delivering solutions that build long-term relationships. You will communicate openly with customers, triage issues, and resolve problems where possible. Formal training will enable you to provide customers with what they need when they need it. Utilize Your Skills To

• Perform customer installation, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively.
• Service electromechanical equipment like self-checkout systems within an assigned territory.
• Perform maintenance, repair, PM work, and system overhauls.

Basic Qualifications To Qualify

• Local candidate to specific geographic area
• Authorized to work in the US
• At least 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license and driving record meeting NCR fleet requirements
• PC skills, basic electronic skills, and familiarity with specific hardware and operating systems
• Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
• Prolonged travel with driving several hours per day
• Rotating and weekend shifts; flexible shift work with rotating start times and some holidays
• Carrying and lifting tools, parts, and equipment up to 75 lbs without assistance, up to 150 lbs with assistance
• Physical ability to bend, squat, walk, stand, sit, reach, use hands, and manipulate objects of varying size
• Willingness to be trained on and operate small-scale scissor lifts in retail environments to service or replace networking equipment such as access points or switches

Preferred Qualifications (not Required, But Nice To Have)

• Familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software
• A+ Certification, CompTIA, N+ Certification
• One or more years of related experience
