Summary/Objective

The Account Manager plays a pivotal role in our sales department, responsible for nurturing and expanding relationships with our valued clients. This role involves managing a portfolio of accounts, understanding client needs, and proactively promoting our products and services. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal and client relations skills, a deep understanding of our offerings, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client satisfaction.

Functions
1. Client Relationship Management
  • Develop and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with assigned clients.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, requests, and escalations.
  • Regularly engage with clients to assess their needs, provide support, and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Ensure clients receive a high level of service and support to enhance their overall experience.
  • Identify potential sales opportunities during customer interactions.
  • Promote and upsell products and services to existing clients.
  • Generate and maintain leads through outbound calls and emails.
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach to understand client needs and recommend tailored solutions.
  • Follow‑up on quotations and client interactions to ensure customer satisfaction and improve close rate.
3. Client Communication
  • Maintain open and transparent communication with clients to keep them informed of product updates, promotions, and relevant information.
  • Address client questions, concerns, and issues promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure clients are aware of the value they receive from our products and services.
4. Documentation and Reporting
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and account information.
  • Prepare regular reports on account performance and sales progress.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to share insights and strategies for account management.
5. Market Knowledge
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market developments.
  • Utilize market knowledge to provide clients with insights and recommendations for their business.

Eligibility Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field; relevant professional certifications are a plus.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in sales or business development, with a proven track record of success.
  • Proficiency in using CRM and other relevant software tools.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining a professional and positive demeanor.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
