Winston-Salem, NC

Compensation: $18.50-$19.50 per hour

• Provide customers with fast, friendly, accurate and safe service at the checkout and/or returns.
• Process Checkout and/or Return transactions and monitor the Self-Checkout area.
• Proactively seek product knowledge to answer customer questions and identify selling opportunities.
• Follow all policies and procedures to minimize shrink.
• Assist in the supervision, coaching and training of other Front End Associates; participate in training of new Cashiers and coach using available tools.
• Provide first level escalation for customer issues; support Head Cashier in expediting price checks, approving POS transactions, and handling markdowns for mainline registers, Self-Checkout, Returns, Pro Desk, Special Services, and Tool Rental.
• Understand and apply role requirements to support overall front-end operations.

• Preferred qualification: 1+ years of Cashier experience (as noted for Head Cashier).
