Registered Nurse - Intermediate Care Unit; ICCU

Overview

What We Offer — Sign-on Bonus up to $20,000 and Relocation up to $7,500. As an Intermediate Critical Care Registered Nurse, you ll support a 20-bed unit that specializes in stepdown care serving a population that includes sepsis, diabetes, congestive heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease with non-invasive respiratory support, stable tracheostomy tubes not requiring mechanical ventilation.

• Department: Intermediate Critical Care (ICCU)
• Location: Forsyth Medical Center, Winston-Salem, NC
• Schedule: Full-Time, Nights (7pm - 7am)

• Work may include; titratable drips, chest tubes, BiPAPs, high flow oxygen, stable tracheostomies (no ventilators).
• The Registered Nurse will prioritize building genuine, personalized relationships with each patient and their chosen support network.
• Through close collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary team members, we assess, plan, implement, and continuously evaluate individualized care strategies.
• Grounded in the latest scientific evidence and deep empathy, we guide patients through every step of their cardiac health journey.

• Education: 4 Year / Bachelor s Degree, preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. You must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
• Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
