Registered Nurse Cardiac Telemetry at Novant Health summary:

Registered Nurse for Cardiac Telemetry providing direct patient care for cardiac populations (chest pain, pacemakers, heart failure, post-cardiac cath) on a 23-bed telemetry unit. Requires active RN licensure, graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred) and typically one year of relevant experience; shift is full-time days (7am-7pm) with sign-on and relocation benefits. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating individualized care, collaborating with multidisciplinary team, and upholding quality, safety, and inclusion standards.

Sign-on bonus available up to $15,000 and Relocation up to $7,500!

Patient population in this unit includes those with chest pain, pacemakers, heart failure, Cardiac Cath Pre & Post, and other general cardiac patients. 6 West 2 is a 23-bed unit emphasizing teamwork and has new advancements and technology. 6 West 2 is also a trial unit for new processes within Forsyth Medical Center.

What We're Looking For:
  • Education:

    4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license.

    In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
  • Experience:

    One year relevant experience, preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification:
    Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
