Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) – Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center - Anesthesiology. Full-time, 40 hours per week. Benefits Eligible. Pay Range: $97.75 - $156.40.

JOB SUMMARY:

A CRNA is an advanced practice registered nurse providing safe, quality age-appropriate anesthesia using established guidelines of clinical privileges approved by the Chair of Anesthesiology. The position is also a Clinical Instructor and directs, supervises, and evaluates Student Nurse Anesthetists.

Registered nurse and completion of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists.

Current RN license from the State of North Carolina. Currently certified or recertified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists. ACLS and BLS certifications.

• Ability to perform clinically as a nurse anesthetist by demonstrating competency in clinical responsibilities as delineated by clinical privileges.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with various clinical staff and other disciplines.

Subject to a highly stressful operating room or procedural environment. Works with anesthetic gases. Moderate to high noise. Clean, well-lit environment. May involve cold or hot climates and long clinical hours.

Standard hospital duties with activity including standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, dexterity, talking, hearing, seeing; lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling as needed up to 100 lbs on job requirements.
