Nurse Manager III
- Ambulatory Surgery Centers (Ambulatory Nurse Manager, Internal Medicine)
- Clinical Operations Management:
Oversee daily nursing operations of the Winston-Salem Urology Clinic, including staffing, scheduling, and workflow optimization. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, infection control, and evidence-based nursing practices. Support safe and efficient delivery of in-office procedures and chemotherapy infusions. - Leadership & Team Development:
Recruit, mentor, and manage nursing and clinical support staff. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth. Promote engagement and retention through effective communication and recognition. - Quality & Performance Improvement:
Monitor clinical outcomes, patient experience, and operational metrics. Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality of care. Lead initiatives to maintain high standards of patient safety and satisfaction. - Strategic
Collaboration:
Partner with the Urology Leadership Team to align clinic operations with organizational goals. Contribute to planning and execution of service line strategies across all Wake Area locations. Serve as a liaison between nursing staff and multidisciplinary teams.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing. Bachelor's degree required;
Master's degree preferred (one of which must be in nursing). - Minimum five years' nursing experience preferred; two years acute care experience within the last ten years preferred; ambulatory experience preferred.
- Previous management or supervisory experience preferred. Current RN licensure in good standing. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required. ACLS/PALS/PEARS may be required within one year in select areas. Certification in specialty area preferred.
- Lead and ensure achievement of department and clinic goals, with compliance to DFS, CMS, TJC and internal standards. Collaborate with DON and compliance office to address issues.
- Provide leadership to staff to meet performance standards and support the Mission, Vision, and Values of the organization.
- Supervise staffing activities, including hiring, orientation, performance management, scheduling, credentialing, and professional development.
- Coordinate care with other clinics, service lines, and multidisciplinary teams; ensure quality and appropriate care delivery.
- Ensure patient population competencies and age-appropriate care.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and maintain patient privacy and confidentiality; resolve conflicts and promote service recovery.
- Participate in planning, developing, implementing, and monitoring budgetary process for assigned areas; ensure workload is aligned with benchmarks.
- Develop and implement quality improvement programs with measurable indicators; involve staff in QI processes.
- Perform and maintain competency for point-of-care testing as assigned in accordance with policies and regulations.
Pay Range: $50.05 - $75.10.
