Overview
The Installation Technician is a front-line team member with direct customer contact. In addition to technical skills, people skills are vital for effective customer relationship management and decision making.
Responsibilities- Assemble component parts in accordance with specified blueprints or schematics.
- Verify correct quantities and quality of component parts.
- Check items as needed or called out on process travelers, manage parts inventory, and use hand tools and mechanical equipment to produce structurally sound components.
- Weld machined parts to create weldments utilized in the assembly of the crane.
Education: A high school diploma or GED is required.
Experience &
Skills:
- Ability to operate a forklift and overhead crane
- Must be able to lift or pull a minimum of 50 pounds
- Requires written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
- Conceptual and planning skills are required
- Must be detail oriented, self-motivated, and disciplined with the ability to change work priorities frequently
- Must successfully complete a criminal background check, physical, drug screen and E-verify
