ZIEHL-ABEGG is looking for a high energy and results-oriented Incoming Goods Inspector who can be a strong contributor to our heavily expanding company.
Quality Incoming Goods Inspector 2nd Shift
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Maintain ISO 9001 standard compliance.
- Incoming goods inspections.
- Recording inspections on company server via tablet.
- Investigation of production/supplier nonconformities and identification of root causes.
- Initiate Supplier US-S Complaint process with Quality Technicians.
- Communicate nonconformities to Production/Purchasing Depts.
- Investigation of inventory/shipping issues.
- Use of calipers, micrometers, height gauges and other measuring devices.
- Work with Service Department when handling non-conforming product that needs repairs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Mechanical aptitude and technical expertise.
- Experience/ability to read product drawings/blueprints, work instructions, and SOPs.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook.
- Previous experience working with ERP systems.
- Analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
- Previous experience with nonconformance and corrective action processes.
- Experience with calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent organizational skills
- Customer oriented personality.
