The Inspector at Cook Winston-Salem is responsible to inspect products according to regulated procedures.

• Inspect products and/or components per detailed specifications and/or drawings for quality, which includes, but is not limited to the following:
  Visually, dimensionally and functionally inspect product;
  Determine whether the product is acceptable using prescribed standards;
  Complete all necessary documentation.
• Assist in training new employees in the department.
• Perform daily and weekly cleaning.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Ability to read, write, and understand product specifications, drawings, work orders, labels and quality forms written in English.
• Ability to use a variety of testing equipment including small measuring devices.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Must maintain company quality and quantity standards.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 18 years of age.

• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Majority of work is conducted in a "controlled" environment.
• Visual Acuity to work with small parts.
• Majority of day is spent sitting and walking within various departments.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 10lbs 90% of day; remaining 10% able to co-carry up to 35lbs.
• Ability to perform fine manipulation with hands e.g. grasping, pinching pulling.
