Production Floater

As a Production Floater at Everkem, you will be an integral part of our warehouse team, providing crucial support to our Machine Operators. This position requires a motivated and flexible individual who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Your role will encompass a variety of tasks, including assisting with machine operation, maintaining equipment cleanliness, and ensuring the smooth flow of production.

You will play a key role in upholding the high-quality standards Everkem’s customers expect.

• Assist Machine Operators in running equipment, fulfilling work orders, and ensuring operational efficiency.

• Help maintain the cleanliness and functionality of warehouse machinery and equipment.

• Aid in conducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance of manufacturing equipment.

• Assist in packaging finished goods, applying labels, and palletizing boxed goods for shipment.

• Maintain clear and effective communication with the Machine Operators and management team.

• Adhere to safety, health, environmental, and quality protocols; report any incidents or hazards.

• Help troubleshoot and resolve issues with machinery or equipment.

• Support the testing and examination of material or product samples to ensure compliance with specifications.

• Assist in monitoring production processes and suggest areas for improvement.

Must be able to regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds unassisted. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
