Joining us as a Multi-Unit Team Leader
, you’ll provide leadership over three H&R Block tax offices. You’ll lead customer-centric teams to accelerate seasonal tax business and achieve office growth objectives. Prior tax preparation experience is not required. This role is in-person and involves a flexible part-time schedule in the fall, transitioning to full-time January–April, with possible evening and weekend hours.

- Provide leadership and development for associates across three tax offices.
- Deliver an outstanding client experience and achieve office growth objectives.
- Lead daily team meetings; communicate essential information to tax office associates.
- Manage office staffing, operations, and logistics for multiple offices with support from Associate Team Leaders.
- Partner with the District General Manager to create and implement office-level growth plans and client growth targets, including developing local partnerships and managing office community involvement.
- Assist DGM in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office positions.
- Conduct timely performance reviews and address performance concerns with the Associate Relations Center as needed.
- Foster an engaging, high-performing team environment across all offices through training and coaching.
- Prepare associate work schedules across all offices, ensure accurate timekeeping, and manage labor for multiple offices.
- Travel between offices as required.
- Prepare tax returns as needed, upon successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment.
- People management experience with a track record of growing and developing associates.
- Aptitude for executing growth plans and fostering a growth-oriented culture.
- Strong decision-making, judgment, and ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset.
- Computer proficiency with MS Office.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or a high school diploma with equivalent experience.
- Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns).
