Winston-Salem, NC | Full-Time, typical schedule is between the hours of 7am - 5pm, Monday - Friday. May be asked to work flexible hours based on occasional events.

Hiring Range
: $16.40 to $17.75 per hour - Compensation is based on experience and qualifications. Candidates who meet only the minimum requirements can expect to start at the beginning of the range, while those with additional and relevant experience and/or advanced skills may be considered for higher starting pay within the range.
- Knowledge of cleaning, sanitizing, and waste disposal techniques
- Understanding of OSHA safety standards and safe chemical handling
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize daily tasks
- Experience maintaining cleaning supply inventories
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and last-minute needs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Professional and respectful demeanor with children, staff, and visitors
- Dependability, punctuality, and a consistent work ethic
- Physical ability to meet job demands (lifting, bending, standing, reaching)
- Comfort working in diverse, inclusive environments
- Willingness to learn and follow health, safety, and agency procedures
- Valid Driver’s License and ability to drive an agency vehicle on campus
- Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
- Operating floor buffers and carpet shampooing equipment
- Cleaning windows, blinds, window sills, baseboards, and furniture
- Cleaning and sanitizing all restrooms; restocking paper goods and soap
- Emptying, cleaning, and maintaining trash receptacles
- Inventorying and restocking cleaning supplies and equipment
- Checking and replacing HVAC filters as scheduled
- Monitoring outdoor areas for trash, sidewalk conditions, snow clearing, and plant care
- Assisting with moving furniture, boxes, and supplies
- Event setup and breakdown
- Washing and drying linens for staff overnight stays
- Communicating maintenance needs discovered during cleaning
- Maintaining organized work areas and securing equipment at shift end
- Adhering to all agency policies, SOPs, and OSHA regulations
- Performing additional duties as assigned within scope of training
