Associate Attorney

This a position for a family law associate attorney, who will be responsible for assisting senior attorneys, developing a caseload, managing cases in litigation, and resolving legal disputes on behalf of clients by negotiating agreements, mediating, and advocating for clients in court. This individual will build client relationships and provide an excellent experience for clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior attorneys with complex cases
• Provide legal representation to clients in negotiations and litigation
• Maintain client relationships
• Contribute to firm development

Qualifications

• Admitted to practice law in North Carolina
• 2-4 years of family law or civil litigation experience (preferred)
• Strong communication, negotiation, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
• Strong legal knowledge in the area of family law or willingness to independently study family law

This position will allow the associate to be mentored by a Board-Certified Specialist in Family Law with 20 years of experience and to grow and development a strong, thriving law practice.
