OverviewAkkodis is recruiting a highly skilled M365 Administrator for a contract position with a client. The role requires strong expertise in Microsoft 365 Administration, Power BI, Power Platform, SharePoint Online, Intune, and Azure AD. The candidate will support the Corporate Platform Engineering team, leveraging technology to drive business efficiency.
Pay$60.00/hr - $65.00/hr (W2 benefits, negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors)
LocationWinston, Salem (3 days per week in NC)

Responsibilities- Manage and maintain the company’s M365 tenant, including user provisioning, licensing, and security policies.
- Monitor system health, performance, and security, implementing necessary troubleshooting and remediation actions.
- Configure and manage M365 services such as SharePoint Online, One Drive, Teams, and more.
- Manage SharePoint sites, permissions, and workflows.
- Configure search, content types, and metadata.
- Implement information governance policies and security settings.
- Manage mobile device policies and security configurations with Intune and Conditional Access.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, Power BI, Power Platform, SharePoint Online, Intune, and Azure AD.
- Basic understanding of DaaS using Azure Desktops and M365 Workstations (plus).
- Proficiency in Power Shell scripting.
- Experience with network and server administration.
- Knowledge of Active Directory and certificate management.
- Knowledge of general disaster recovery validation methods and willingness to assist in testing efforts when required.
- Comfort working within a strict, heavily vetted change control process.
- Willingness to work on and maintain security and risk controls, familiar with industry standards such as NIST, ISO, CIS, PCI, and FFIEC (plus).
- Manage Power BI work spaces and guide the organization toward best practices.
- Optimize Power BI performance and security.
- Collaborate with business users to understand their reporting needs and provide effective solutions.
