** - ACLS - BLS - NC State License / RRT Credentials - RRT - PALS (Preferred) - NRP (Preferred)
** Skills (Preferred):** - Care of Patient With Bronchoscopy - Medication Administration
** Essential Equipment
Experience:
**
- ** Required Vents:** - Servo I - Servo U
- ** Preferred Vent:** - Avea
** Work Settings:** - Adult Critical Care - Emergency Department - Med/Surg - ICU Step-Down Units
** Patient Age Groups:** - Adolescents - Adults - Geriatrics
** Special Procedures/Unit Details:** - Large respiratory care department practicing at the top of their license.
- Work with a diverse range of patients, including a significant COPD population and many COVID patients.
- Engage in proning patients and night-time VPAP management.
- Utilize advanced equipment including Omni-labs and ABL
90 ABG machine.
** Scheduling Requirements:** - 36 or 48 hours can be offered, accepting 13-week assignments.
- Minimum of 4 weekend shifts within a 6-week timeframe.
- Call required based on workload; no floating outside the facility.
** Ratios:
** 35-45 patients per day
** Unit Orientation:** - Orientation will include a few days on the day shift (7a - 7p) before transitioning to the night shift (7p - 7a).
