Sonographer opportunity for a qualified candidate to work 39 hours per week to provide excellence in patient care at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in Winston-Salem, NC.

• Shift
  
  Schedule:
  
  Day shift, 39 hours per week.
• Sign on bonus up to $15,000 ($10,000 for newly graduated Sonographer students). Bonus paid over two years.
• Relocation Assistance: $5,000 in relocation expenses, provided the candidate meets the eligibility requirements. Paid within the first 30 days of employment.

• Associate's degree or Completion of an AMA approved Radiology Program
• Valid Sonography Certification, Registered with ARDMS or registry eligible
• Preferred – 1 year of experience.
• Current BLS Provider Certification
• Efficient communication skills, both orally and written, to maintain good interpersonal connections with the public and internal staff members.
• Basic knowledge of computer systems, applications, and job specific precautions to maintain a safe working environment that fosters teamwork.

• Prioritize patient needs when selecting procedures, techniques, equipment, and communication methods.
• Produce top-quality diagnostic images, ensuring proper positioning, technical factors, collimation, and patient identification; assist with needle localization as needed; consistently and accurately enters patient exam data information and charges in a timely manner.
• Explain procedures to patients effectively to reduce anxiety and enhance cooperation; follow appropriate age and developmentally specific guidelines.
• Adhere to Radiation Protection Policies and carefully limit exposure to maintain compliance within department and hospital.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and organized workspace and notify appropriate personnel when stock needs replenishing.
• Perform accurate and complete quality assurance procedures in appropriate software prior to submitting scans to the Radiologist.
• Operate equipment accurately to obtain precise measurements and produce quality diagnostic images, demonstrating proficiency in cross-sectional anatomy.
• Other duties as assigned, including transporting patients when necessary.

Pay Range: $34.90 - $52.35
