- Airway Management - Medication Administration - Ventilator Management - ABG Interpretation - Oxygen Therapy - Suctioning - Pulmonary Hygiene - Nebulizer Therapy - BiPAP & CPAP - Preferred:
- Vest Therapy / Meta-neb / PAP Therapy
** Work Settings:** - Adult Critical Care - Emergency Department - Med/Surg & ICU Step-down
** Patient Age Groups:** - Adolescents - Adults - Geriatrics
** Special Responsibilities:** - Work in a large respiratory care department, practicing at the top of your license.
- Engage with a diverse patient population including a high number of COPD and COVID patients.
- Participate in patient proning and management.
** Special Equipment Used:** - Required Vents:
- Servo I - Servo U - Preferred Vent:
- Avea - Additional Equipment:
- ABL
90 ABG machine - Omni-labs and V30s
** Scheduling & Orientation:** - Adaptability to schedule type based on unit needs.
- Initial orientation will include shifts from 7a - 7p before transitioning to night shifts.
** Uniform:** - Black scrubs provided if needed, especially in COVID units.
** Additional Details:** - No RTO after booking or onsite adjustments.
- On-call requirements based on workload.
- Weekend shifts: 4 within a 6-week timeframe.
