Required:
** - BLS - ACLS - NC State License - RRT Credentials
- ** Preferred
Certifications:
** - NRP - PALS

* Required Skills:
** - Airway Management - Medication Administration - Ventilator Management - Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs) - Oxygen Therapy - Suctioning and Pulmonary Toileting - Nebulizer and BiPAP/CPAP Therapy
** Work Environment:**
- ** Patient Care Settings:** - Med/Surg Units - ICU Step-Down Units - Emergency Department
- ** Patient Age Groups:
** Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
- ** Patient Diagnoses:
** Large COPD population and COVID patients
** Special Procedures/Unit Details:** - Practice at the top of your license in a large respiratory care department - Engage in various critical care activities - Utilize advanced technology including:
- Servo I, Servo U, Hamilton T1, Night-time VPAP - ABL
90 ABG machine
** Scheduling Highlights:**
- ** Ratios:
** 35-45 patients per day
- ** Weekend Requirement:
** 4 weekend shifts within a 6-week period
- ** Call Requirement:
** On-call as needed, based on workload
** Unit Orientation:** - Initial orientation will take place from 7a - 7p, transitioning to 7p - 7a for shifts
** Scrubs Provided:
** Black
