Skills:
** - Medication Administration - Airway Management - Ventilator Management - Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs) - Care of Patients with:
- Bronchoscopy* - High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) - CPAP / BiPAP
** Work Settings:** - Adult Critical Care - Emergency Department - ICU Step-down Units - Med/Surg Units
** Patient Age Groups:** - Adolescents - Adults - Geriatrics
** Special Procedures/Unit Details:** - Work in a large respiratory care department - Opportunities to manage a diverse COPD population and COVID patients - Utilize advanced equipment:
- Servo I, Servo U - ABL
90 ABG machine - Other specialized ventilation equipment
** Scheduling & Requirements:** - No floating to other facilities - Requirement for occasional on-call shifts - Work on four weekends within a six-week timeframe
** Personal Orientation:** - Structured orientation: 7a - 7p, followed by night shift acclimatization
** Scrubs Provided:** - Black scrubs available --
