• Intake and processing of specimens
• Input data into Electronic Medical Records Nextech
• Log incoming slides and prepare slides for physicians
• Log pathology reports, accession and pull charts for physician review
• File slides and blocks
• Compliance with safety regulations
• Review all slides and documentation to ensure information is accurate
• Assist with maintenance of Quality Control and Quality Assurance processes
• Assist with ordering laboratory supplies and appropriately store supplies
• Assist with maintenance of current policies and procedures for all lab functions
• Assist with overall responsibility for maintenance and storage of all lab records and patient slides according to law
• Input of diagnosis codes to prepare for finalizing reports for pathologists
• Any other duties as required to ensure Qual Derm Partners' operations are successful

• At least 1-2 years experience in lab or medical office setting required
• Understanding of medical terminology preferred
• Associates Degree required
