Position: Medical Assistant (Front Office Experience Preferred)

Location: Medi-Weight loss – Winston-Salem & Summerfield, NC

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Duties:

• Obtain patient vitals, perform EKGs, and phlebotomy
• Administer intramuscular injections
• Prepare laboratory requisitions and retrieve lab results
• Assist providers with patient evaluations and care
• Document patient progress accurately in the EMR
• Conduct patient follow-up calls to discuss progress and answer questions
• Perform other clinical support tasks as needed

Administrative Duties:

• Answer and route calls using a multi-line phone system
• Greet patients and manage check-ins with professionalism
• Verify insurance coverage and conduct benefits verifications (VOB)
• Scan and upload documents into patient records
• Maintain inventory of clinical and office supplies
• Assist with training new staff as needed
• Support clinic marketing and patient retention efforts

Qualifications:

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent)
• Front Office Experience, Including Insurance And Benefits Verification
• Experience with phlebotomy and EKGs
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Background in exercise or fitness is a plus
