Pay

Pay Range $20.80 - $31.20

Education/Experience

High school diploma or GED equivalent with three years of office or clerical experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in the department to be served preferred.

Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration: N/A

Essential Functions
  • Oversees the general clinical operations including record keeping and filing, ordering and purchasing of general medical/surgical supplies and office supplies and equipment.
  • Develops work schedules and assignments for professional and ancillary staff with attention to equitable distribution and adequacy of coverage.
  • Assists with assessing department fiscal requirements, prepare budgetary recommendations, and monitor and reconcile expenditures.
  • Assists with various personnel functions including hiring, scheduling, and performance planning.
  • Prepares management reports (technical, operational, fiscal) which detail patient or procedure volumes, resource utilization, trends, revenues, expenditures, etc.
  • Cross-trains staff. Oversees staff development in areas of computer access, and lab and diagnostic testing requisitions.
  • Oversees maintenance of office space, equipment, and facilities.
  • Maintains inventory of supplies, meets with sales personnel, evaluates purchase orders, and makes decisions regarding purchases for the clinic.
  • Acts as a liaison between physicians and nursing staff to facilitate the care of the patients and clinical flow.
  • Answers by phone and in person inquiries concerning clinic policies and procedures.
  • Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
Skills/Qualifications

Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong computer experience.
