Responsibilities

• Hours:
  
  36 hour position, primarily inpatient coverage at Forsyth Medical Center, scheduled 7am-7pm on Saturdays and Sundays, with a variable third weekday 7am-7pm. In the future, there may be occasions where third day coverage would be requested in our Ambulatory office in Winston Salem.

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s Degree Required. Graduate of an NCCPA accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program required.
• Experience: Experienced APPs and New Graduates considered.
• Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current PA license in the appropriate state required. NCCPA Certification and current DEA registry required. ACLS (if infusion center or cardiac specialty) required.
• Additional Skills: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Ability to work with management team and physicians; demonstrated customer service skills, interpersonal skills and communication skills. Will receive on-the-job training on administering cardiac stress testing.
