Interventional Specialist Lead

What You’ll Do- Lead and mentor a team of skilled Interventional Specialists, fostering a culture of teamwork, respect, and continuous learning.
- Perform advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures with precision and expertise.
- Partner closely with physicians, nurses, and leadership to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
- Oversee workflow, safety, and quality initiatives that elevate every patient experience.
- Be a role model for excellence, embodying Novant Health’s mission to improve the health of our communities, one person at a time.
- Education:
High School Diploma or GED, required. 2‑Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT‑approved Radiography Program, required. - Experience:
Minimum of two years of experience in Interventional Radiology or Cardiac Catheterization Lab, required. - Licensure/Certification:
- Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography, required.
- Certified and registered by ARRT in Cardiovascular Interventional or Vascular Interventional – RT(R)(CV) or RT(R)(VI) within 6 months of hire, required.
- IV Credentialed, required.
- Refer to the Life Support Training Policy NH‑HR‑3096 for life‑support training requirement.
- Applicable state license, required.
- Additional Skills (required):
Ability to successfully complete generic and department‑specific skill validation and competency testing; exhibits leadership characteristics such as listening to gain understanding, keeping promises, supporting the organization, communicating effectively, making fair decisions, sharing knowledge, treating others with fairness and respect, visualizing the big picture for the department, creating a personal connection, and motivating staff through encouragement and vision.
