Schedule:

PRN | GWM Internal Resource Pool.

• Perform vascular and other sonographic examinations in an acute care setting.

• ARRT (S) or ARDMS certification (within 6 months of hire)
• Prior acute care experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail

• 2‑Year/Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT‑approved Sonography Program; or CAAHEP‑recognized Sonography Program, required.
• Minimum one year experience in vascular sonography, required.

• Certified and registered by ARRT in Vascular Sonography or by ARDMS in Vascular Technology or by CCI in Vascular Specialist RT(S)(VS), or RDMS,RT(VS), RDMS,RVT,VT, or RT(S)(RVS), RDMS,(RVS), required.

• Ability to successfully complete generic and department‑specific skills validation and competency testing.
• Good communication skills.
• Capacity to work independently in diagnostic rooms.
• Working knowledge of various types of ultrasound equipment.
• Ability to adapt to new situations and procedures according to patient age.
• Interpret information to identify patient care needs based on age‑specific requirements.
• Basic computer skills.
