Position: Patient Services Coordinator Lead
Location: Winston‑Salem, NC
Department: Ortho and Sports Med Clinic
Employment Type: Full Time, M-F 8:00a-5:00p
At Novant Health, we believe that remarkable care starts with remarkable people. As a Patient Services Coordinator Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our patients receive seamless, compassionate, and efficient care from the moment they walk through our doors.
What You'll Do:- A PSC lead is responsible for providing back‑up to the clinic administrator for the daily operations of the business office functions of the physician practice.
- Responsible for the timely and accurate recording of patient demographics, insurance information, patient charges and collections and scheduling patient appointments in a timely and accurate manner.
- Cross‑training required in multiple administrative support functions.
- Works within a team to achieve patient and team goals. Shares and initiates regular and professional communication with co‑workers.
- Participates in regular staff meetings. Works as a team member to identify areas of improvement and actively participates in the improvement process.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a medical office setting (REQUIRED).
- Proficiency in EPIC systems and understanding of CPT and ICD9-CM coding.
- Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work collaboratively in a diverse team.
