Status: Full time
Benefits: Eligible
Hours per Week: 40
Schedule: Weekdays + Call 1 night/week and every 5th weekend
Pay Range: $34.90 – $52.35 per hour
Position Highlights- Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 (eligible)
- Department:
Cardiac Catheterization Lab – hybrid catheterization‑surgery lab with advanced therapies. - Location:
Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Winston‑Salem, NC. Relocation assistance may be available. - Additional on‑call compensation
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a current NC RN license
- Completion of an Allied Health Technology program (e.g., Radiology, Respiratory Therapy) with appropriate registry/license
- Completion of a Cardiovascular Interventional Program
- At least 2 years of experience within nursing scope; preferred registry/license within scope
- CPR certification upon hire
- Proficient in procedure room roles (Circulator, Recorder, Scrubbing)
- Strong communication skills with diverse age groups
- Analytical skills for scheduling, equipment, and procedural instruction
- Emergency Preparedness:
Ensure emergency equipment and supplies are ready; recognize and respond to emergencies. - Safe & Therapeutic Environment:
Promote safety practices, maintain equipment knowledge, ensure compliance and report malfunctions. - Record Keeping:
Complete and maintain accurate departmental records and logs, enter patient data and charges into electronic systems, safeguard privacy. - Communication:
Maintain professional relationships with patients, families, and colleagues; address concerns. - On-Call:
Provide 24‑hour emergency call coverage, rotate with staff, respond within 25 minutes, facilitate inter‑departmental coordination. - Patient Care:
Monitor and evaluate patient stability, administer medications & treatments under supervision, assist with advanced procedures. - Education & Consultation:
Mentor coworkers & trainees, participate in continuing education, maintain point‑of‑care testing and competencies. - Age‑Specific Care:
Provide age‑appropriate care, update knowledge on age‑specific guidelines.
Compensation: Base pay within range based on qualifications; premium pay for shift, on‑call; incentive pay for select positions; annual increases based on performance.
