What We Offer Cardiac Catheterization Lab position at Forsyth Medical Center, Winston-Salem, NC.
Location:
Forsyth Medical Center, Winston-Salem, NC. Department:
Cardiac Catheterization Lab.
Schedule:
Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM (No weekends, no holidays). On-Call Rotation: 1 day per week and every 5th weekend. Procedural Volume:
Approximately 15-20 cases per day. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to join our dynamic Cardiac Catheterization Lab team supporting five labs. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced, state-of-the-art environment.

What You ll Do
Provides care to patients undergoing cardiac and vascular procedures. Collaborates with physicians and other team members to assess, implement and evaluate patient care in accordance with current policies and procedures.
- Education: Graduate from one of the following Accredited Education Programs required:
Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Radiology Technology (RTR), Registered Respiratory Therapy (RRT), Registered Cardiac Invasive Specialist (RCIS), Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic (EMT-P), Cardiovascular Tech (CVT), Vascular Intervention (VI). - Experience: If RN, one (1) year of Critical Care, Emergency Services, Cath/EP Lab, or Special Procedures experience, required. If EMT-P, two (2) years of acute care hospital experience, required. If RTR, RRT, RCIS, RCES, CVT or VI one (1) year of experience, preferred.
- Licensure/Certification: RN license in North Carolina; RTR (ARRT) or EMT-P credentialing/accreditation;
Paramedic associate degree or equivalent; NCRCB/NBRC credentials as applicable; RCIS/RCES or equivalent cardiovascular credentials. If CIS is not RN or RTR with CI/VI, must obtain RCIS or RCES within 24 months of hire or when eligible to sit for exam, for continued employment. - Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skill validation and competency testing. Pass yearly Cardiac Dysrhythmias Test.
