- Bachelor degree (non Human Services) with 4 years full time experience with the population served required
- Associate or Bachelor degree (Human Services) with 2 years full time experience with the population served required
- Master degree (Human Services) with 1 year full time experience with the population served required

- Understanding of IDD populations and service definitions regulatory requirements.
- Strong communication skills that allow for collaboration with individuals, families, staff, colleagues, supervisors, and external stakeholders.
- Strong technology skills and willingness to learn electronic health records system for documentation and review of information.
The Residential Program Lead is responsible for the overall management, supervision, and clinical oversight of assigned residential program(s). This role ensures high-quality, person-centered services that support individuals in achieving their personal goals, enhancing their quality of life, and fully participating in their communities. The Residential Program Lead serves as the Qualified Professional (QP) for assigned individuals, providing leadership to staff and maintaining regulatory compliance and ensuring the effective operation of all residential services.
WhatYou ll Do
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments, monitor individual progress, and evaluate the effectiveness of person‑centered plans (PCPs)
- Facilitate the development, implementation, and modification of PCPs in collaboration with individuals, team members, natural supports, and community partners
- Ensure all PCPs and required documentation are completed accurately, creatively, and on time, including daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual EHR entries, in compliance with agency, state, and federal standards
- Promote and model person‑centered and positive support strategies and integrate these approaches into program operations and staff training
- Support individuals’ participation in community and shopping activities and ensure spending aligns with approved budgets
- Ensure service requests meet eligibility, admission, and discharge criteria and that supports are clinically appropriate and fiscally sustainable
- Initiate, monitor, and maintain clinical authorizations and ensure compliance with audit requirements, documentation standards, billing processes, and financial management
- Provide leadership, supervision, and guidance to staff, including PRN and float staff, while modeling consistent expectations
- Conduct regular on-site supervision across all shifts, including unannounced visits, to monitor service quality, staff performance, and adherence to PCPs
- Complete clinical supervision plans, coaching, counseling, progressive discipline, and performance evaluations as required
- Assist with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training in collaboration with administrative personnel
