OverviewTrio Supply Chain Solutions, a prominent name in IT asset dispositions (ITAD) and electronics brokerage, is on the lookout for a dedicated Server Hardware Engineer to enhance our engineering team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for the assessment, remediation, and innovative design of server hardware systems. Your expertise will play a key role in ensuring that our IT asset disposition processes are efficient, compliant, and environmentally sustainable.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Server Hardware Engineer, you will evaluate server hardware for quality and performance, perform repairs, and assist in refurbishing outdated equipment for reuse. You will also work in cooperation with various teams, ensuring that hardware solutions adhere to industry standards and meet customer specifications. Additionally, you will contribute your insights into developing strategies for cost‑effective and environmentally friendly IT asset management.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related area.
- At least 3 years of experience in server hardware engineering.
- Strong understanding of server architecture and hardware configurations.
- Experience with server repair, refurbishing, and performance evaluation.
- Familiarity with IT asset disposition processes and relevant environmental regulations.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively within cross‑functional teams.
