We’re looking to add a Building Envelope Project Manager to our Greensboro team, someone who enjoys leading projects through technical expertise, partnering closely with project teams, and mentoring younger professionals along the way.
What This Role Is Really AboutThis role is about project leadership and influence. You’ll lead building envelope projects from start to finish while working alongside architects, engineers, contractors, and internal teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
In this role, you will:- Lead and guide projects through investigation, design, and construction, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule goals are met.
- Collaborate with project teams to solve problems, share expertise, and drive thoughtful decision-making.
- Mentor and support younger staff through field work, technical guidance, and review of deliverables—helping them grow while strengthening project outcomes.
- Apply technical expertise to building envelope systems including glazing, curtain walls, roofing, waterproofing, cladding, and insulation.
- Build trusted client relationships by communicating clearly, managing expectations, and delivering excellent service.
- A strong background in building envelope consulting, investigation, design, and commissioning.
- Experience leading and managing complex projects, coordinating multiple stakeholders, and guiding work through completion.
- The ability to translate technical findings into clear recommendations and solutions.
- A collaborative mindset and desire to share knowledge with others.
- A degree in civil engineering, architectural engineering, or a related field. Professional licensure or certifications (PE, RA, IIBEC) are a plus.
