Position: Crazy Running Coach

Crazy Running is a small business in Winston-Salem, NC. Our goal is to positively impact the health and future of young athletes through running.

Do you love the outdoors, staying active and working with kids? Then you should join our team of coaches!

We are currently hiring for our Spring Training season, with most of our programs starting the end of February. We are looking to fill coaching spots at several after school programs throughout the week. We will provide training to prepare you, as well as a curriculum for you to follow at each practice! We also provide shirt, equipment and support.

Each season we recruit individuals that want to gain experience in coaching and leading groups in exercise, as well as those who have a passion for running and working with kids. The goal of our program is to introduce students to running, but also keeping them active, moving and having fun. We have a goal race at the end of our programs for all our runners.

We are looking for reliable role models that have a passion for exercise and the desire to share that with young people. Crazy Running coaches can take charge, think on their feet, and command the respect of a crowd of busy kids. Crazy Running coaches are also enthusiastic, encouraging, trained, appreciated greatly by us and PAID! The time commitment is approximately 80 minutes for each practice (set up, practice, clean up).

Pay starts at $20/practice. One practice per day, with the option to work multiple days per week.

Coaches also must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise youth through after school transitions and various Crazy Running activities, ensuring safety and promoting teamwork.
  • Provide instruction for running and other games.
  • Foster a positive and supportive environment, encouraging personal growth and development in participants.

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership skills to effectively guide and motivate groups of kids.
  • Ability to work with children and promote a positive, engaging environment.
  • Consistent and on-time schedule for program(s).
