Job DescriptionThe Wake Forest University School of Business seeks an exceptionally qualified candidate to join its faculty as a tenured Associate or Full Professor of Strategic Management. The successful applicant will be expected to excel in both teaching and scholarship, publishing high‑quality research and teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Strategic Management across multiple modalities.
Qualifications- Ph.D. (or equivalent) in Strategic Management or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
- Demonstrated record of teaching effectiveness, with evidence such as course evaluations or comparable benchmarks.
- Strong research portfolio with publications in well‑regarded outlets, including premier journals recognized by the Financial Times.
- Commitment to the teacher‑scholar model that integrates original thought leadership with positive real‑world impact.
- Ability to contribute to a student‑centered learning environment that develops professional competencies and a clear sense of identity and character.
- Engagement with the marketplace through research, interaction, and student support.
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Strategic Management.
- Produce and disseminate scholarly research that addresses significant theoretical and practical issues.
- Participate in faculty service and outreach activities that enhance the school’s reputation and impact.
- Mentor students and contribute to the development of the student learning experience.
