Key Responsibilities- Provide surgical care to trauma and critically ill patients in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
- Participate in trauma call coverage and manage acute surgical emergencies.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, trauma registry reviews, and protocol development.
- Engage in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Participate in clinical research and academic activities, as appropriate.
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification or eligibility in General Surgery.
- Fellowship training in Surgical Critical Care and/or Trauma preferred.
- Eligible for medical licensure in North Carolina.
- Strong commitment to patient care, education, and academic excellence.
