Location:

Today's Child Learning Center – Winston‑Salem, NC.

Hours:

Monday‑Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.

• Communicating clear goals, guidelines, and standards to support each child’s growth.
• Ensuring the health, safety, and well‑being of every child entrusted to your care.

• Education:
  
  Two‑year Associate’s Degree, required. AA/AAS degree in Early Childhood or related field as defined by DHHS Division of Child Development Education unit.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum of 2 years verifiable experience in a childcare center, or years of experience working with children up to 12 years of age.
• Licensure/Certification/Registration: NC Credentials or equivalency defined by regulatory compliance Division of Child Development Workforce Unit, required. Adult and Pediatric CPR/First Aid within 2 months of hire, required. ITS SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) within 2 months of hire, required.
• Additional skills (required):
• DHHS NC Division of Child Development Criminal Background Letter (required renewal every 5 years) and Workforce letter within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to successfully complete generic and department‑specific skills validation and competency testing.
• BSAC required for those working with school‑age children.
• CDL for school age if driving the buses.
• NC Division of Child Development Qualifying Letter/Criminal Background letter.
• NC Division of Child Development Workforce letter within 2 months of hire.
• NC Institute for Child Development Professional ECE Certification within 2 months of hire.
• CDL license (if hired for driving buses) and working with school‑age children.
• Maintain training hours requirements as outlined by the Division of Child Development.
• Additional skills preferred:
  Playground safety.
