Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a Plant Director to join our team and lead all plant operations & drive operational excellence at our Winston-Salem, NC Location. This role is pivotal in ensuring safety, quality, compliance, and efficiency while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. The Plant Director will develop strategic plans, manage resources, and build future leaders to position the plant for long-term success.

We Do

We make, sell, and distribute Pepsi Co and more beverages. We have the exclusive rights to make, sell, and distribute directly to stores in our territory the world-renowned Pepsi Co and Keurig Dr. Pepper beverages. These exclusive rights make up the vast majority of our business and cover certain counties across five states.

We also create our own beverages, producing and distributing them to our customers’ warehouses nationally. And we make, sell, and distribute to our customers’ warehouses a growing portfolio of beverages nationally. These beverages make up a small but growing part of our business.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Manages the plant operations at the production and warehousing facility.
  • Hires and manages Operations staff members.
  • Implements new technologies to improve quality and reduce costs.
  • Creates and maintains paperwork pertaining to production, warehouse quality and inspections.
  • Services the Sales Department.
  • Develops and implements all AOP objectives.
  • Provides support to PBV customers and suppliers.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Operational Leadership:
  • Ensure safe, efficient, and compliant daily operations across the site(s).
  • Achieve operational targets for Safety, Quality, OEE, and Cost
    .
  • Implement and monitor food safety, GMP, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strategic Impact:
  • Develop and execute long-term plans for operational excellence and growth.
  • Drive major process improvements and reliability initiatives.
  • Lead transformation projects to position the plant for future challenges.
  • Champion Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce downtime and optimize processes.
  • Deliver measurable improvements in efficiency and cost savings.
  • Talent Development:
  • Coach, mentor, and develop future leaders.
  • Build a robust talent pipeline and support succession planning.
  • Foster cross-functional partnerships to achieve organizational goals.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and external partners.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (Master’s Degreee preferred).
  • Experience:
  • 10+ years in manufacturing or bottling operations, including large-scale plant management (>15MM cases/year).
  • Proven track record in food safety, GMP, and regulatory compliance.
  • Must be able to read & understand a P&L Report
  • Must have strong computer skills, excellent oral & written communication skills, be able demonstrate attention to detail, and multi-task.
