Resident Service Coordinator – First Key Homes
Join First Key Homes as a Resident Service Coordinator in Winston‑Salem, NC. You will be a vital link between departments, extending the property management team to ensure our homes maintain the highest standards, manage vacant inventory, and foster meaningful connections with our residents. This field‑based role involves frequent driving; a company‑issued fleet vehicle will be provided.
Responsibilities- Facilitate engaging move‑in orientations for new residents, ensuring they feel welcomed and confident in their new home.
- Carry out light cleaning inside and outside the property to enhance its appeal to potential residents.
- Perform routine light maintenance tasks, including changing light bulbs and air filters.
- Conduct thorough audits of products and inventory.
- Execute routine inspections, including bi‑weekly assessments of vacant inventory; manage lockbox access and conduct occupancy checks.
- Make utility payments in person and deliver documents to local municipalities.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other real estate laws.
- Other duties may be assigned by the manager as needed.
- Knowledge of property management principles and essential home basics (water valves, circuit breakers).
- Active listening, critical thinking, negotiation, persuasion, social perceptiveness, time management, speaking, and writing skills.
- Sales and marketing knowledge for promoting and selling products or services.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Valid driver’s license.
- Experience with property management programs (Yardi or similar) is preferred.
- Experience in customer service or sales roles and fast‑paced, high‑growth companies is preferred.
- Proficiency in Spanish (reading and writing) is preferred.
