Position Summary The Contract Administrator will anticipate and respond to customer inquiries for contract in the Cranes Division to strive to exceed all expectations. Coordinate efforts with all required departments to provide superior customer service.
Responsibilities- Respond to customer or outside sales requests in real time for order placement, adjustments, and cancellations.
- Establish and maintain rapport with customers in order to provide best possible service.
- Enter new projects into Netsuite.
- Purchase and track materials from vendors.
- Communicate with customer transit information.
- Milestone invoice customers.
- Build O&M manuals.
- Enter equipment into corresponding system.
- Attend production/scheduling meetings.
- Coordinate job with PMs.
- Close job when complete.
- Research overages on projects, as needed.
- Maintain work area, equipment, and tools in a clean and organized manner; follow all safety guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
A high school diploma or GED is required; an undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university with a focus in Business Administration or related discipline; in the absence of a degree, directly related job experience serving in a Business Administration role, where a number of years and proven knowledge may offset the degree requirement.
Experience & Skills- Previous experience in customer service.
- Requires solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and planning skills are required.
- Excellent math skills and overall PC literacy (Microsoft Office) are required.
- Must be detail oriented, self-motivated, and disciplined with the ability to multi-task.
- Must successfully complete a criminal background check, physical, drug screen and E-verify.
