Pay Range: $34.90 – $52.35
Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Accounting, Finance or related field.
Three years of experience in grant accounting, research administration, grant/contract application, review/negotiation, and/or paralegal experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Master’s degree or JD preferred.
Certified Research Administrator (CRA) preferred.
Essential Functions- Supports faculty members and department administrators in the various stages of grant and/or contract life cycle.
- Demonstrates knowledge of institutional cost policies and funding agency guidelines, applying them to budgets.
- Understands negotiation and documentation process related to each stage.
- Reviews financial information to ensure compliance.
- Consults with institutional management and/or legal on contract language and monitoring.
- Provides support and guidance to stakeholders for grants/contracts entered into by the institution.
- Fulfills reporting requirements of grants/contracts.
- Represents and promotes the institution's research activities at meetings.
- Records, reports, reviews, and reconciles grant budgets and expenditures.
- Maintains positive relationships with stakeholders.
- Assists in formulation and implementation of policies and procedures related to grant and contract administration.
- Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
- Highly detail oriented and organized with a focus on teamwork.
- Advanced ability to use all technologies related to grants and contracts management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities/deadlines.
- Skilled knowledge of WFBMC/Non‑Profit Organization research administration and financial processes.
- Advanced comprehension of laws, regulations, and policies.
- Excellent negotiation skills and ability to compose and analyze business contract terms.
- Desire to manage a larger caseload; self‑starter and problem solver.
- Exceptional interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
Clean, well‑lit office environment that may be subject to interruptions.

The position is responsible for compliance and administrative matters relating to sponsor‑funded grants, contracts, and financial management. The Administrator IV works with pre‑award and post‑award teams and serves as the primary customer service contact to PIs, department administrators, sponsors, etc.
