GEMCAP Capital is seeking a Transaction Coordinator to support our development and investment activities across multiple projects. This role is central to keeping deals organized, moving forward, and executed with clarity and precision.

You’ll work closely with our Director of Project Advancement, Development Managers, and external partners to support project origination, due diligence, transaction execution, and ongoing coordination.

Job Responsibilities
  • Support all phases of project origination, evaluation, and transaction execution
  • Coordinate due diligence activities, including third‑party reports, vendor proposals, and document tracking
  • Assist with LOIs, PSAs, leases, amendments, and related transaction documents
  • Prepare lease abstracts, transaction checklists, and deal summaries
  • Track critical dates, deliverables, and contractual obligations across projects
  • Coordinate acquisition and disposition closings with attorneys, brokers, title companies, and counter parties
  • Maintain accurate project information in Smartsheet and internal systems
  • Support permitting, applications, utilities, insurance coordination, and property‑level administration
  • Collaborate closely with the internal team to ensure projects move forward efficiently
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience in commercial real estate development or legal support (Paralegal experience preferred)
  • Strong legal document review and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Highly detail‑oriented, proactive, and dependable
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities at once
  • Notary license or willingness to obtain
