Role SummaryOur law firm is currently seeking a qualified applicant to fill the position of a Legal Assistant. The Legal Assistant will be responsible for day‑to‑day operations of the law office, providing administrative support to enhance office effectiveness, drafting legal documents, copying, mailing, e‑filing, and corresponding with other departments to ensure smooth running of the office, effective case management, and performing a broad range of substantive and administrative tasks.
Proficiency in utilizing technology to carry out those tasks is required.
Looking for applicants with great work ethic, exceptional problem‑solving skills, organizational skills, ability to multitask, self‑motivation, strong attention to detail, and comfort working in a fast‑paced and dynamic workplace, as well as willingness to learn and help wherever needed. Must be a dedicated professional with a positive attitude.
Qualifications- Prior legal experience preferred but not required
- Excellent writing, proofreading, customer service and communication skills
- Able to take direction and work independently
- Highly organized and detail‑oriented
- Comfortable operating and learning computer programs and web‑based systems
