Banyan Search is working with a growing organization in the Triad to identify a Corporate Accounting Manager
. This high-visibility role partners closely with operations and leadership to strengthen accounting processes, ensure GAAP compliance, and drive ERP and process improvements.
- Lead month-end close and financial reporting for multiple business units
- Partner cross-functionally to strengthen internal controls and accounting workflows
- Ensure GAAP compliance across fixed assets, leases (ASC 842), and investments
- Drive ERP optimization and process automation in collaboration with IT
- Prepare and present financial analysis and insights to senior leadership
- Analyze cash flow and complex balance sheet accounts
- Support annual filings and external audits
- Manage, mentor, and develop accounting staff
- Support ad hoc reporting and special projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or CMA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience (manufacturing strongly preferred)
- Strong GAAP and month-end close experience
- ERP system experience and advanced Excel skills
- Strong communication and leadership skills
