- General ledger & close activities working with journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
- Prepare internal financial reports and schedules for leadership and auditors.
- Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and U.S. GAAP.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency.
- Support internal and external audit processes by preparing requested documentation.
- Assist in onboarding acquired companies into the accounting system.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience; public accounting, multi-entity, construction, distribution, manufacturing, or specialty contracting industry experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, etc.).
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Collaborative and proactive with excellent communication skills.
