Financial Accountant

Talent Finance is partnering with a client known for its strong culture to recruit two Financial Accountants across the South Coast. You’ll be joining a well-run, collaborative finance team where quality, ownership and work life balance are genuinely valued. This role suits a qualified Financial Accountant with post-qualified experience and confidence in statutory and regulatory reporting. You’ll be hands-on, detail-focused and comfortable with audits, consolidations and VAT work, and keen to broaden your exposure without a long-hours culture.

A visible, varied role in a supportive team, ideal for someone who enjoys technical accounting and takes pride in getting things right. You’ll take ownership across a broad range of financial accounting responsibilities, including:
Preparing statutory accounts for multiple entities Supporting year-end and external audit processes Assisting with consolidated group accounts Coordinating regulatory and external financial reporting Supporting VAT returns and liaising with HMRC and external advisers Providing technical accounting input across the business Driving continuous improvement and better ways of working Supporting and developing a junior team member You’ll be trusted to own your areas, with support and guidance from experienced finance leaders when needed.

This role will suit someone who:
Is ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified Has solid post-qualified experience in financial or statutory accounting – would suit a move from Practice or Industry Is comfortable with audits, statutory accounts and technical detail Has exposure to consolidations and VAT-related work Enjoys working collaboratively and building strong relationships Takes ownership and follows things through Sector background isn’t critical. What matters is technical capability, mindset and how you work with others.
