Part‑time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI SAT SUN All Hours Available

10 – 28 hours/week

Find your future at Fastenal! Our distribution center is hiring energetic, team oriented individuals to work in our fast‑pace warehouse. As a Part‑time Receiving associate, you will help facilitate the movement of product throughout the distribution center. When inventory arrives at the HUB location, you will verify the product and quantity delivered, then prepare the product to move to the next department.

• Operating computer programs, RF scanners, and printers to label product
• Unloading product
• Inspecting orders to ensure accuracy of shipment and reporting discrepancies
• Inspecting product for quality and accuracy
• Using a scale for weighing product
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the work area
• Complying with health, safety, and sustainability rules and expectations
• Participating in activities and programs that help the company achieve health, safety and sustainability objectives
• Learning, passing, and practicing various environmental health and safety trainings

• Proficient written and oral communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Highly motivated, self‑directed and customer‑service oriented
• Strong math aptitude, attention to detail, and sense of urgency
• Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment
• Works independently as well as in a team environment
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule/extra time as needed
• Demonstrates core values of ambition, innovation, integrity, and teamwork
• Capable of lifting, sliding, carrying, and lowering packages that typically weigh 25‑50 lbs and may weigh up to 100 lbs
• Passes the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam only)

• Prior experience operating a forklift

The pay range for this position is $15/hr – $20/hr.
